Hangin' Over Havasu

Owners Joe Lorenzen and Anne Taffe have both grown up in families greatly involved in the aviation world.  Joe spent many hours in the wilds of Alaska's back country in the seat of his father's Cessna 180 on amphibs.  When Joe discovered how much fun it is to go low and slow it opened up a whole new world.  He bought an Airborne Edge X with skis in the winter and floats in the summer.  Joe was able to explore Alaska like the rare and the privileged.
Anne's family was also fascinated with flight.  Her father flew the fields of Western Minnesota in his Super Cub and her brother flies internationally.  

Joe is a FAA Certified Light Sport WSCL-WSCS-ASEL-UAS(Drone)

We offer a Light Sport Weight-Shift Control Aircraft Introductory Flight in a FAA certified North Wing Scout.

Looking to become a Sport Pilot?  We offer Weight Shift Control Land and Sea training in either one of our planes or yours. We can also arrange training in Light Sport fixed wing and Gyrocopter.

The Lake Havasu area boasts over 300 sunny days a year and 8 days of measurable rain.  Chances are we will be flying.  Please call for more accurate daily detail.
